Job Description:
The Analytical Specialist will focus on developing highly sensitive and robust Mass Spectrometry–based methods for quantifying genotoxic impurities in drug substances and drug products. The role includes method development, validation, troubleshooting, impurity profiling, and resolving analytical challenges across R&D and QC functions, key to Dr Reddy’s professional careers.
Key Responsibilities At Pharmaceutical R&D Jobs:
- Develop sensitive and robust quantitation methods for genotoxic impurities in drug substances and products, a necessity for success within Dr Reddy’s Careers.
- Select appropriate quantitation modes, validate methods, and transfer methods to QC sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve method-related issues to ensure robust method development.
- Identify impurities in stress and stability studies through Mass and fragmentation correlation.
- Develop methods for screening leachables in parenteral formulations.
- Respond to regulatory deficiencies related to Mass spectrometry techniques.
- Provide quantitation support for plant samples and perform structure confirmation for standards and impurities.
- Anticipate regulatory or customer queries and propose timely, relevant actions.
- Train new team members and prepare SOPs and guidelines.
- Conduct incident and investigation analysis and identify CAPA and root causes.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensure safe working practices, and oversee instrument preventive maintenance.
Qualifications Required For Dr Reddy’s Careers:
- Educational qualification: Post Graduation in Pharma
- Minimum work experience: 3-8 years of experience
Skills Required For Dr Reddy’s Careers:
Technical Skills
- Able to understand the mass spectrometry principles and Liquid chromatography principles.
- Good hands-on experience on Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC_MS), Tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) and High resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) techniques.
- Excellent skill set on method development, sample preparation, matrix interference removal and validation of quantitative methods in API and formulations.
- Experience on extractable and leachable, analytical method development, validations & transfers.
