Key Responsibilities
- Physicochemical properties assessment through pre-formulation studies for new chemical entities (NCEs). Handling and good knowledge on various analytical tools/ instruments used in drug discovery and formulation development work in order to understand physicochemical properties of NCEs.
- Formulation development, feasibility, and stability studies to support pre-clinical pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacology (PD) and toxicology (safety) studies.
- Good knowledge/ understanding on the biopharmaceutics risk assessment (in vitro) studies of drug substances and drug products, making the associate scientist job essential for research.
- Assist in oral drug product development to support clinical studies, including but not limited to oral solution, suspension, tablet, and capsule dosage forms.
- Good knowledge/ understanding on solid state characterization of drug substances.
- Record, summarize and present experimental data/ results appropriately and assist in drafting relevant scientific/technical reports.
- Good working knowledge on MS office and basic scientific software/ tools used in drug discovery and formulation development workspace.
- Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams while exhibiting the core values of the department and company.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
