Education:
- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- Doctoral degree (M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D) preferred
Key Accountabilities:
1. Scientific Expertise:
- Maintain updated knowledge of disease states, AstraZeneca products, and the competitive landscape.
- Lead and contribute to the Field Medical Strategic Plan (FMSP).
- Serve as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support training and mentorship initiatives within the therapeutic area.
2. Scientific Exchange:
- Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions with healthcare professionals.
- Deliver high-quality, balanced scientific information on AstraZeneca products.
- Organize and participate in scientific events, symposiums, and advisory panels.
- Support investigator-initiated studies and publication collaborations.
3. Customer Insight:
- Collect and communicate medical insights to guide AstraZeneca’s strategies.
- Partner with healthcare ecosystem stakeholders to identify gaps in patient care and propose data-driven solutions.
4. Strategic Relationship:
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups.
- Support clinical study collaborations and evidence-generation activities.
- Promote partnerships with government bodies, research institutions, and startups to address patient access challenges.
5. Other Responsibilities:
- Leverage digital and innovative technologies for scientific exchange.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance, GxP, and ethical interaction policies.
- Adhere to internal and external regulatory guidelines governing clinical and medical activities.
Skills:
