BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The institute conducts innovative translational research and develops multidisciplinary research collaborations to translate scientific concepts into products that improve human health. BRIC-THSTI houses multiple specialised centres, including Maternal and Child Health, Virus Research, Tuberculosis Research, Immunobiology, Drug Discovery, Bio-design and Diagnostics, supported by advanced core facilities such as BSL-3 labs, biorepository, data management centre, and vaccine development facilities.
Job Description
This recruitment is to fill project-based vacancies at BRIC-THSTI under multiple funded research projects. Selected candidates will support translational research, clinical development, laboratory operations, quality assurance, documentation, and technical services as per the requirements of the respective projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting translational and clinical research activities
- Laboratory operations, maintenance, and inventory management
- Sample collection, processing, storage, and data entry
- Molecular biology, bioinformatics, and immunological assays
- Quality management system implementation and compliance
- Documentation control and regulatory record maintenance
- Coordination with clinical sites and research teams
Qualifications
Educational qualifications and experience vary by position and include:
- Graduate degree, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.Pharm, MPH, DMLT or equivalent from a recognised university/board
- Relevant post-qualification experience in research, laboratory, clinical, bioanalytical, diagnostic, or vaccine development domains
- Knowledge of GCP, GLP, ISO, and NABL standards, where applicable
