    Educational Requirements

    • Master’s degree in Pharmacy

    • Experience in computational techniques applied to drug discovery is required

    Key Responsibilities for Chemist Job Role

    • Apply cheminformatics approaches to analyze chemical and biological datasets
    • Develop and implement QSAR/QSPR models to predict molecular properties
    • Support design and optimization of small and large molecules using structure- and ligand-based methods
    • Utilize data science and machine learning techniques for computational chemistry insights
    • Perform molecular modeling activities including docking, pharmacophore modeling, and simulations
    • Prepare technical reports and contribute to internal design discussions
    • Support development and improvement of computational tools and workflows

    Skills Required for Chemist Job Role

    • Strong knowledge of computational chemistry and drug discovery workflows
    • Hands-on experience with tools such as Schrödinger, MOE, ICM, Cresset, KNIME, and Pipeline Pilot
    • Expertise in QSAR/QSPR modeling and cheminformatics
    • Experience in molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry, docking, homology modeling, and pharmacophore modeling
    • Familiarity with Linux-based HPC environments, GPU systems
    • Knowledge of Python programming is an added advantage
