    Educational Requirements

    • Degree or qualification in Pharmacy
    • Equivalent education, training, or experience may be considered
    • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) certification, where applicable

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform independently as a Clinical Data Coder or Lead Coder/DOC for assigned protocols
    • Manage coding activities across the full clinical study lifecycle
    • Code medical terms using MedDRA, WHO Drug and other medical dictionaries
    • Validate and test coding applications, reports, datasets, and edits
    • Conduct data reviews, discrepancy management, and data clarifications
    • Perform Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reconciliation
    • Manage coding timelines in coordination with DOC, DTL, or Data Management leads
    • Perform quality control checks and support the implementation of new technologies
    • Support audits for assigned studies and coding projects
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements
    • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

    Skills Required

    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology
    • Hands-on experience with MedDRA, WHO Drug and clinical coding tools
    • Understanding of clinical data management processes from study start-up to database lock
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
    • Experience with SAE reconciliation and audit support
    • Good understanding of database technologies used in data management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
