    Project Details

    Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Indian citizens for the following purely industry-sponsored project-based temporary position:

    • Title of the Project: First-in-class Small Molecule Therapeutics for Myeloid Leukaemias
    • Funding Agency: Health-Holland (Netherlands) (an internationally funded project)
    • Project Duration: 18 months

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work on in silico design and multi-step heterocycle synthesis.
    • Characterisation of medicinal organic compounds.
    • Assist and perform in vitro assays related to the research project.
    • Contribute to the research activities for the project, First-in-class Small Molecule Therapeutics for Myeloid Leukaemias under this CUP Recruitment.

    Qualifications

    • PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Organic Chemistry or equivalent with at least 55% marks in Master’s degree.

    Desirable

    • Candidate should have experience in in silico design and multi-step heterocycle synthesis, and characterisation of medicinal organic compounds.
    • The candidate should be familiar with in vitro assays.
    • Candidates with a qualified national-level exam (GPAT, GATE, NET, etc.) and a publication track record related to cancer therapeutics will be given priority.

    Monthly Emoluments

    • ₹ 65,000 /- per month.

    Term of Engagement

    • 18 months or till the completion of the project, based on performance and availability of the fund.
