Job Description:

The Deputy Manager – Production will be responsible for overseeing and executing filling and packing activities within the Drug Product manufacturing unit. This role ensures compliance with Batch Filling Records (BFR), Batch Packaging Records (BPR), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while maintaining high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Deputy Manager will also play a key role in ensuring data integrity, managing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining equipment and facility hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute filling and packing activities as per BFR, BPR, and SOPs.
  • Adhere to and maintain current GMP standards in all production-related activities.
  • Follow daily and weekly production schedules to ensure timely completion of production targets.
  • Take instructions from the Production Manager and execute shift activities accordingly.
  • Immediately stop production activities in case of abnormalities and escalate to the Production Manager.
  • Maintain manufacturing records online while complying with data integrity practices.
  • Raise indents, issue, and submit BFRs and BPRs as per requirement.
  • Manage raw and packing material indenting, receipt, and verification in alignment with production schedules.

Educational Qualification:

B Pharm / M Pharm in Pharmacy

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of BFR, BPR, and SOP documentation.
  • In-depth understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Experience in SAP operations related to production.
  • Familiarity with QC, QA, and production compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
