Dr. Reddy’s is looking for an experienced Process Engineer–PAT to drive real-time analytics, digital transformation, and predictive control across API and drug product operations within the IPDO business unit.
Job Details for the Engineer Job:
The role includes:
- PAT strategy development and implementation from R&D to manufacturing
- Developing chemometric models (PLS, PCA, ANN)
- Integrating PAT tools with DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, SynTQ, SIPAT, Seeq
- Supporting synthesis, crystallization, and formulation process models
- Multivariate data analysis and DoE-based optimization
- PAT data pipelines connecting to historians, MES & data lakes
- Advanced analytics for prediction and fault detection
- Ensuring alignment with ICH Q8–Q14, FDA/EMA PAT frameworks
- SOPs, validation protocols, lifecycle management
- Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, MSAT, QA/QC, automation & manufacturing

Educational Requirements for the Engineer Job:
- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in PAT, process development, or manufacturing
- Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, or small molecules preferred
Key Responsibilities for the Engineer Job:
- Identify and implement PAT tools across R&D and manufacturing
- Build calibration and chemometric models
- Integrate PAT systems with automation platforms
- Enable process understanding, scale-up & continuous manufacturing
