The BRIC–National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi, invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (Project) under the sponsored project “Developing New Anti-TB Molecules to Overcome Anti-Microbial Resistance Crisis.” This JRF Vacancy is an excellent opportunity for M.Sc or M.Pharm graduates. Educational Qualifications:

• M.Sc or M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
• Candidates with M.Sc/M.Pharm in Life Sciences and hands-on experience in organic compound synthesis may also apply.
• Preference will be given to candidates with industrial or research experience in organic or medicinal chemistry.

Job Description:

• Conduct chemical synthesis of small-molecule organic compounds.
• Work under guidance on the development of anti-TB molecules aimed at combating antimicrobial resistance.
• Maintain accurate experimental data and contribute to ongoing drug discovery research.

Emoluments for the Pharma Job:

• Consolidated ₹37,000 per month + 27% HRA, as per institute rules and depending on qualifications and experience.

General Terms & Conditions:

1. The appointment is contractual for one year or until project completion, whichever is earlier.
2. No hostel or housing facility will be provided.
