Position Overview
The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting Lupin’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, generating prescriptions, increasing market share, and ensuring timely and efficient product distribution across the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement
• Visit Doctors, Chemists, Stockists, and other key stakeholders as per company call planning.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Conduct customer engagement initiatives in alignment with company strategies.
2. Sales & Prescription Generation
• Achieve monthly and annual sales (primary and secondary) targets.
• Drive prescription generation for assigned brands to support market growth.
• Implement strategic initiatives to enhance territory profitability.
3. Distribution & Territory Management
• Ensure adequate product distribution within the assigned territory.
• Control operational losses by minimizing expiries, breakages, and other inefficiencies.
• Oversee stockist/distributor orders, supply chain follow-up, and timely payment collection.
4. Market Intelligence
• Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, and product performance.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to reporting managers and marketing teams.
5. Planning & Reporting
• Develop monthly and annual territory plans to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of doctor visits, sales data, sample distribution, and field activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
• Preferred: B.Sc / B.Pharm
• Age Limit: Below 28 years
• Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Skills Required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion ability
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products
• Goal-oriented, self-driven, and target-focused
