Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create and execute pre-call and post-call plans using SMART objectives to optimize sales outcomes.
- Build trusted customer relationships and identify win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to maximize coverage and sales opportunities.
- Continuously assess customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and disease insights.
- Share market intelligence to align brand strategy and anticipate challenges.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers and identify key disease-state experts.
- Represent the brand at scientific meetings, cross-functional initiatives, and stakeholder engagements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- Mandatory governmental/legal certifications (if applicable).
Skills Required
- Proven track record of success in sales and solid presentation skills.
- In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
- Strong business acumen with strategic and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to adapt selling approach to customer behavior and operate in a matrix environment.
- Experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
