Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- Mandatory certifications as required by country-specific regulations (if applicable)
- English language proficiency (verbal and written) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
- Develop and execute territory call plans to optimize coverage and frequency
- Create SMART pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to improve effectiveness
- Build strong, trusted relationships with healthcare providers and key accounts
- Handle objections and close sales calls effectively
- Gather and share market intelligence related to competitors, disease states, and customer needs
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and identify key opinion leaders and advocates
- Collaborate with in-field teams, brand teams, and sales leadership for aligned execution
Skills Required
- Proven pharmaceutical sales success with strong presentation skills
- In-depth scientific, therapeutic, and product knowledge
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent customer engagement and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt selling approaches based on customer behavior
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Prior experience in eyecare or related therapeutic areas preferred
