Educational Requirements
- Doctoral degree, such as PharmD
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, or clinical research
- Knowledge of therapeutic area, disease state, and treatment landscape
Key Responsibilities

Maintain deep clinical and scientific expertise in disease management, AstraZeneca products, and emerging therapies.

Contribute to and lead Field Medical Strategic Plans (FMSP)

Act as subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders

Support training, mentoring, and scientific capability development

Conduct peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with Healthcare Professionals and KEEs.

Deliver balanced, non-promotional scientific information supporting safe medicine use.

Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries.

Organize and lead scientific events, including advisory boards, symposiums, MSL events, and expert panels.

Collaborate with KEEs on evidence generation, ESRs, local studies, and publications.

Gather, analyze, and synthesize scientific and medical insights from the field.
Other Responsibilities

Leverage digital tools and innovation for scientific engagement.

Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance, GxP, GCP, and adverse event reporting requirements.

Adhere to Ethical Interaction Policies, local regulations, and AstraZeneca Global Field Medical Standards
