Job Description
The Medical Affairs job – Manager – Oncology in Hyderabad will lead and execute medical strategies to support the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of Azurity’s oncology products. Acting as a scientific expert, this Pharm D Job bridges internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, KOLs, and academic institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated Medical Affairs job strategy aligned with brand objectives.
- Serve as a scientific and clinical expert across the product lifecycle (pre-launch, launch, post-marketing).
- Foster strong relationships with KOLs and external scientific stakeholders.
- Plan and support advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific symposia.
- Develop, review, and approve medical materials; support publication planning.
- Collaborate on stakeholder engagement and educational initiatives.
- Provide strategic input for conferences and scientific content.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Pharmacovigilance.
- Support sales and internal teams through medical training and scientific guidance.
- Support real-world evidence (RWE), investigator-initiated studies (IIS), and post-marketing studies.
- Analyze medical insights from external engagements to inform strategy.
- Ensure adherence to Medical Affairs SOPs, regulatory, legal, and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
Education:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA) with 1+ years of relevant clinical experience.
- Oncology-specific certifications (BCOP, AOCNP) highly desirable.
Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years relevant work experience in clinical, fellowship, research, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough knowledge in Hematology/Oncology and/or Immunology preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep scientific expertise and strategic operational thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Knowledge of US healthcare systems, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
