About the MPharm Job
As a Medicinal Chemist at Vastu Vihar Biotech, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in pharmaceutical and biotech applications. You will design, synthesize, and optimize chemical compounds with therapeutic or bioactive potential, supporting product innovation and development.
Key Responsibilities of MPharm Job
- Design, synthesize, and optimize chemical compounds with potential therapeutic or bioactive properties.
- Conduct laboratory experiments involving organic synthesis, purification, and compound characterization using techniques such as NMR, IR, HPLC, and MS.
- Collaborate with microbiologists, pharmacologists, and formulation scientists to test and evaluate compounds.
- Support the development of new formulations, nutraceuticals, and biotech-based healthcare products.
- Maintain detailed experimental records and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
- Review current research literature to identify trends and emerging technologies in medicinal chemistry and biotechnology.
- Participate in product development meetings and contribute to innovation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills for the Pharma Job
- Education: M.Sc., M.Pharm, or Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry
- Experience: 1–5 years in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical R&D, or related biotech research.
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, and compound characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with biochemistry and pharmacological testing methods preferred.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
