About the Company:
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata is an Institute of National Importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata is a leading research institute specializing in pharmaceutical education, industrial collaborations, and innovative drug development technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- RA-I & RA-II: Develop new formulations using continuous and traditional batch processes, write scientific manuscripts, and perform assigned research tasks.
- CEO: Manage project activities, collaborate with industry partners, transfer technologies, design and plan projects, train researchers, and generate revenue for the centre.
Educational Requirements:
- RA-I: First-class Master’s degree (M. Pharm/ M.S. (Pharm)/ M. Tech) in Pharmaceutics/Quality Assurance/Industrial Pharmacy with 3 years of academic/industry research experience.
- RA-II: PhD in Pharmaceutics/Industrial Pharmacy with 2 years of research experience.
- CEO: PhD in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Sciences with 5+ years of research experience in solid oral dosage forms OR M. Pharm with 10 years of research experience, including 5 years in solid oral dosage forms development.
Skills Required:
- Strong research and analytical skills in pharmaceutical formulation
- Experience with solid oral dosage forms is desirable
- Scientific writing and publication skills
- Project management and industrial collaboration (for CEO)
- Knowledge of continuous manufacturing technologies
