Job Description: PhD Admissions
NCBS-TIFR invites online applications for its PhD Admissions programme beginning January 2026. This programme prepares students for advanced scientific inquiry and future Pharmaceutical Research jobs, supported by a structured research fellowship.
Key Responsibilities : Research Fellowship Role
- Conduct high-quality original research under expert guidance

Qualifications for PhD Admissions
- Master’s degree in Biology OR a 5-year degree (MBBS, BDS) OR a professional Master’s degree (M.Pharm / M.Tech)
- Qualified in any national fellowship exam (CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT, ICMR, DST-INSPIRE, or GATE) with >95% percentile as of 01 January 2026
Research Fellowship Details
- JRF: ₹37,000/month + HRA for first 2 years
- SRF: ₹42,000/month + HRA post-registration
- Candidates may use national fellowships or the TIFR fellowship
