Job Description:
This position is part of the Content Strategy team within Norstella Content Operations. The Analyst will collaborate with Ontology and Content Strategy teams to support content roadmaps, business requirements, and ad hoc customer-driven projects. Responsibilities include mapping Norstella data to third-party standards, aligning datasets, and contributing to strategic transformation initiatives around optimization, utilization, and thought partnership.
Key Responsibilities at This Data Analyst jobs:
- Contribute to project delivery, task completion, and workstream planning.
- Translate data-driven concepts into business-friendly ROI.
- Enhance content datasets and expand capabilities.
- Execute data extraction and support scalable innovative solutions, including AI-driven efforts.
- Build validation testing strategies for incubator-stage content.
- Support transformations in:
Data Strategy – reconciliation, governance, AI enablement
Operations – best practices, technological adoption, process engineering
Organization – operating model design, structural alignment, talent utilization
- Map healthcare data to standard terminologies.
- Align internal datasets with external suppliers or customer datasets.
- Maintain mapping documentation and review dictionary updates.
- Conduct data discovery and support data modelling needs.
- Communicate mapping context to colleagues.
- Work closely with product, content, and data engineering on standards and query resolution.
Qualifications Required For Data Analyst Jobs:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferentially Pharmacy, or equivalent field
- 3+ years’ experience preferably in a biopharma intelligence, business research, life sciences consulting domain
- Understanding of how life science data is published, captured and processed to translate real-world events into structured content
- Understanding of drug development lifecycle and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint, Excel and PowerPoint, Monday.com, LucidChart, Jira, Confluence
- Impeccable or native English verbal and written communication.
- Experience analysing, aggregating, and structuring clinical or medical data.
- Good understanding of clinical processes and vocabulary.
- Previous experience of data mapping and alignment projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of health information systems including EMR, and claims processing.
- Knowledge of relational database systems.
- Prior experience of working with and/or applying taxonomies.
- Proficiency in SQL.
