Educational Requirements
- Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in formulation and process development
- Hands-on experience with ANDA submissions and technology transfer for solid/liquid oral dosage forms for regulated markets (US, Europe, ROW)
Key Responsibilities
- Formulation and process development of oral dosage forms, including solids and liquids
- Troubleshoot and resolve formulation issues for new or existing products
- Design and execute formulation trials; evaluate stability data to finalize compositions
- Develop manufacturing processes for R&D formulations for successful large-scale technical transfer
- Assist with alternate vendor development and site transfer projects
- Write and review master formulas, manufacturing procedures, SOPs, stability protocols/reports, process validation reports, and Product Development Reports
- Support the manufacturing of exhibit/submission batches per regulatory requirements
- Facilitate technology transfer from laboratory scale to production scale
- Collaborate with Analytical Method Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, QA, and Inventory Control to expedite product development and FDA approvals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company procedures and cGMPs
- Work in shifts or visit the manufacturing site as required
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and solid/liquid oral dosage formulation
- Practical experience in development, technology transfer, and regulatory submissions
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong documentation and compliance adherence skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility to work in shifts and visit manufacturing sites when required
