Job Description
As a Medical Advisor-Specialty, you will play a crucial role in providing scientific and medical expertise to support the development and commercialization of our specialty products. You will act as a key medical resource, fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensuring the accurate and ethical communication of scientific information.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide scientific and medical input into the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical studies and trials, leveraging expertise in Clinical Study Design and Clinical Data Management.
- Conduct comprehensive Literature Reviews to stay abreast of scientific advancements and competitive landscapes, informing strategic planning and product development.
- Develop and review high-quality Medical Writing for a variety of audiences, including scientific publications, internal training materials, and regulatory submissions.
- Effectively communicate complex medical and scientific information to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.
- Build and maintain strong Customer Relationships, acting as a trusted medical partner and understanding their needs and perspectives.
- Participate in the development and delivery of compelling Product Demonstrations, highlighting the scientific value and clinical benefits of Ferring’s specialty products.
- Ensure all activities adhere to relevant Regulatory Compliance guidelines and internal standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning initiatives by providing medical insights and scientific expertise to inform product lifecycle management and market access strategies.
- Proactively Think and Solve Problems related to product development, medical affairs, and market challenges.
- Plan and Prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Continuously Adapt Thinking and Behaviour to evolving scientific landscapes, market dynamics, and business needs.
- Consistently Deliver Results that contribute to the success of Ferring’s specialty portfolio.
- Develop and articulate clear Value Propositions for our products based on robust scientific evidence and clinical differentiation.
Qualification
- Medical degree (PharmD, or equivalent) with relevant clinical experience, preferably within a specialty area pertinent to Ferring’s portfolio.
- Proven experience in Clinical Trials, Clinical Study Design, and Clinical Data Management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated ability in Medical Writing and the preparation of scientific communications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to Communicate Effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a capacity to think and Solve Problems strategically.
- Experience in Customer Relationship Building with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Understanding of Regulatory Compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to Adapt Thinking and Behaviour to new challenges and information.
