Job Description
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst Job, you will be responsible for coding and indexing chemical compounds present in patents in line with Derwent Innovation product conventions. This role is perfect for graduates in pharmacy or chemistry who wish to build a career in intellectual property, patent analysis, and pharma-chemical data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Code and index chemical compounds in patents according to Clarivate’s Derwent Innovation guidelines.
- Support team initiatives by staying updated on current trends.
- Upskill in pharma/chemistry, intellectual property, and data analyst.
- Contribute to accurate, high-quality content for leading pharma companies, R&D labs, and universities worldwide.
Eduactional Qualification:
B. Pharm / M. Pharm graduates
Experience and Skills
- Fresher or candidate with 1–2 years of experience in pharma or chemistry-based content editing (not R&D).
- Elementary proficiency in a foreign language (German, French, Spanish, etc.).
- Patent analysis, chemical structure drawing (ISIS Draw/Marvin JS), IUPAC nomenclature, Markush, chemical reactions.
- Knowledge of drugs and their human use.
- Strong computer and content skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
