    About the Institute

    The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), established in 1965, is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It is engaged in Research & Development in areas such as Environmental Toxicology, Predictive Toxicology, Health Risk Assessment, Preventive Toxicology, Inhalation Toxicology, and Analytical Toxicology, as well as in National S&T Missions. IITR has two campuses; the main location is in central Lucknow City, and the other is approximately 20 km away from the main campus.

    Job Description

    A walk-in interview will be conducted for the engagement of Project Staff under different projects temporarily at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. The details of vacancies, qualifications, and interview dates are as follows:

    Job Positions Details

    1. Project Technical Support – III (GAP-468)

    • Project Name: “Pro-Resolving Mediator Embedded Non-Invasive Nanogel for the management of Diabetic Dental Pockets Via Osteogenic Priming of the Periodontal Stem Cells.”
    • Qualification: Master’s Degree in Pharma
    • Job Role: Develop nanomaterials, characterize them, and perform cell culture and molecular biology experiments

    2. Project Technical Support – III (GAP-469)

    • Project Name: “Defining the role of Zearalenone, mycoestrogen-induced Extracellular vesicles and their cues in endometrial carcinogenesis.”
    • Qualification: M.Pharma
    • Job Role: Collection of biospecimens, isolation and characterization of EVs, and kidney toxicity studies

    3. Project Technical Support – III (GAP-463)

    • Project Name: “Impact of environmental endocrine disruptors, diet and lifestyle on sex hormone levels and consequences thereof in human breast tissues of Indian and German Women.”
    • Qualification: M.Pharma
    • Job Role: Analyzing the EDCs in bio-specimens using LC/MS-MS and GC-MS/MS

    4. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (GAP-461)

    • Project Name: “Dissecting molecular insights of early life oral exposure of Xenoestrogen Bisphenol-A on Choroid Plexus and Cerebrospinal Fluid (ChP-CSF) system in the Brain: Implications on Neurogenesis.”
    • Qualification: M.Pharm
    • Job Role: To carry out the experimental neural stem cell culture and animal studies

    • Qualification: Pharmacology / Toxicology
    • Job Role: To carry out the regulatory safety/toxicity studies as per the regulatory framework

    • Project Name: “Toxicity studies of Poly Aluminium Chloride sample provided by Payal Polyplast.”
    • Qualification: Pharmacology / Toxicology
    • Job Role: To carry out the regulatory safety/toxicity studies as per the regulatory framework

    7. Project Associate-I (GAP-168)

    • Project Name: “Monitoring of pesticide residue at the national level.”
    • Qualification: Pharm (Pharmaceutical analysis/Pharmacology)
    • Job Role: Sample collection and pesticide residue analysis
