Job Description
- Walk In Interview For JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) aT Defence Research Laboratory (DRL, DRDO) on 07/04/2026 (JRF) and 08/04/2026 (RA).
- Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates with the desired qualification for the posts of Junior Research Fellows and Research Associate to work in ongoing and future research projects at DRL, Tezpur (DRDO).
Qualification
- M.Pharm/M.S(Pharm)/M. Tech(Pharm)/ M.Tech in Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology & Toxicology/Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with GATE/GPAT/NET.
Stipend
- Rs. 37000/- per month with HRA as stipend.
Tenure/duration
- The tenure of the fellowship will be initially for a period of two years, and based on performance, it may be upgraded to SRF and extended for 3rd and 4th year if required.

Mode of selection: Walk-in interview at DRL, DRDO, Solmara Military Station, Dekargaon, Tezpur, Assam on:
- 07/04/2026 – JRF
- 08/04/2026 – RA

General Conditions
- The offer of a fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.
- Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right.
- Candidates possessing a degree/provisional degree certificate are only eligible to apply.
- Candidates are to produce original certificates/testimonials and an AADHAR card at the time of the interview.
- Candidates are required to produce a copy of published research papers & thesis, also at the time of the interview.
- One photocopy set of all documents with the application must be carried during the interview.
- Candidates presently employed in Government Departments/PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies should send their application through the proper channel and are required to produce an NOC from their employer at the time of interview.
- The decision of the Centre Head, DRL (DRDO) Tezpur, will be final in case of any discrepancy.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
- Number of fellowship as indicated above may vary depending on laboratory requirement.
