Job Description
- Recruitment Notification for Project Scientist-III Position under sponsored project by DIPAS, New Delhi
- National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Guwahati (NIPER-G) intends to fill the following position under the project entitled:
- “Bioactivity guided fractionation, isolation and characterization of marker compounds from the edible fungus Cordyceps sinesis and Ganoderma lucidium under the sponsored project by DIPAS, New Delhi.”
Key Responsibilities
- Bioactivity-guided fractionation of natural products
- Isolation and characterization of marker compounds
- Handling analytical techniques like HPLC, Mass spectroscopy, and NMR
- Conduct research related to edible medicinal fungi
- Publication-oriented scientific research work
Qualifications
Essential Qualification:

PhD with a preceding Master’s Degree of first class (M.S/M.Pharm/M.Sc) in chemistry or natural product chemistry or equivalent subject related to natural product.
Mandatory Requirements:
- GATE/CSIR NET qualification is mandatory.
- Candidate must have a minimum of three publications with an impact factor >3.
Desirable:
- Experience in natural product isolation and characterization
- Analytical techniques like HPLC, Mass, and NMR
- Proven research publication track record
Salary
- Rs. 67,000/- + 20% HRA per month
