Job Description
- The role of Junior Chemist at Apotex Inc. under Apotex Careers falls under the Operations function within the Production / APIPL – Production Operations department.
- This Pharma Job is classified under Salary Grade Level II and is based at APIPL, Bangalore, with no travel requirements.
- The position reports directly to the Shift In-charge and indirectly to Mr. G. C. Srinivasa Rao – Senior Manager, with no direct reports.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to carry out process and cleaning activities in compliance with production planning, ensuring adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, and all regulatory & safety requirements
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve production goals
- Execute daily tasks with focus on collaboration, courage, perseverance, and passion
- Follow instructions from the Reporting Officer and adhere to GMP & Good Documentation Practices
- Perform production operations as per BPCR and cleaning activities as per GCR’s
- Handle SAP transactions and stage raw & packing materials in designated areas
- Identify, report, and document deviations during activities
- Maintain safety standards and good housekeeping in the plant and surroundings
- Coordinate with Engineering for breakdowns, maintenance, and daily operations
- Ensure safe disposal of waste as per EHS norms
- Participate in training on Unit Operations, GMP, and Safety
- Report abnormalities in GMP, Safety, and Operations to the supervisor
- Perform all other assigned duties within Apotex Inc. under Apotex Careers
Qualification
Education: Degree in Pharmacy

- Communication style and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in an APIPL environment.
