Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality input regarding TM/Biomarker aspects into the design of the clinical study (including protocol development) to ensure biomarker data are adequately captured and collected.
- Coordinate the activities of external partners and CROs for biomarker data generation and statistical activities.
- Perform pre-processing and normalization of biomarker data (RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry data, etc.).
- Coordinate production, documentation, and review of derived variables and quality control plans.
- Perform biomarker statistical analyses (ROC curve, survival analysis, linear mixed models) and review statistical distributions.
- Oversee execution of statistical analyses according to SAP and prepare statistical methods for CSR and publications.
- Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc biomarker data analyses aligned with study objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent statistics in scientific working groups.
Educational Requirements
- MSc /PhD Pharmaceutical Data Science
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical development.
- Expertise in high-dimensional statistics (PCA, cluster analysis, Bayesian models, bootstrap methods, SVM, Lasso, etc.).
- Experience handling complex biomarker data (RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry).
- Proficiency in R, R-Shiny, and potentially Python or C++.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional global teams.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines and statistical integrity standards.
