Job Description
The In Vivo PK Scientist Pharma Job involves conducting in vivo pharmacokinetics studies in rodents, maintaining lab documentation, and ensuring safety compliance. The role is designed for candidates with M.Pharm/Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology who are experienced in industry settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pharmacokinetic studies in rodents.
- Document lab work online and manage compounds efficiently.
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times.
- Train team members on EHS measures and ensure adherence.
- Contribute to the development of safe procedures and systems aligned with company standards.
- Drive a corporate culture emphasizing EHS and operational discipline.
Qualifications
- M. Pharm / PhD in Pharmacology & Toxicology.
- Expertise in surgical procedures such as cannulation (jugular, femoral, portal vein) in rats.
- Chronic bile duct cannulations in rats and other animal models for PK studies.
- Experience in tissue distribution studies and collection of biological fluids.
- Knowledge of pharmacokinetic data analysis using Phoenix WinNonlin.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for drug metabolism and PK.
