Job Description
The Associate will do full-time research work on problems stated in the project proposal that was approved by CSIR. The key duties include planning experiments, analyzing data, drafting research papers for publication, and preparing annual progress reports for submission to CSIR. The associate will also present scientific findings at seminars, conferences, and workshops.

Qualifications
- Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech
Desirable Qualification
Experience in molecular microbiology, with a focus on recombinant technology and gene expression. The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with the laboratory techniques designed to manipulate genetic material, engineer organisms, and analyse functional outcomes using methods such as RT-PCR, Western blot, etc.
Stipend
- Rs. 58,000/- p.m.
In addition to the stipend, the Research Associate shall be eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA) if hostel accommodation is not provided by the Institute, subject to approval by CSIR, New Delhi.
