Job Description
Aurigene is seeking a skilled Scientist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion) assays and physicochemical studies to join our drug discovery team. The ideal candidate will conduct critical in vitro assays, advanced metabolism studies, and analytical bioanalysis to support lead optimization and candidate selection as part of Aurigene’s Pharma Jobs in Hyderabad and high-impact Research Scientist Jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in vitro ADME assays, including metabolic and plasma stability assessments, CYP inhibition studies, and plasma protein binding experiments.
- Conduct physicochemical studies such as kinetic and thermodynamic solubility, chemical stability, and Log D determinations.
- Execute advanced metabolism studies, including differential metabolism using cytosolic and S9 fractions, hepatocyte stability, and reaction phenotyping.
- Provide analytical expertise in LC-MS/MS-based sample bioanalysis for accurate quantification and data interpretation.
- Analyze and report results to cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality data to advance drug development pipelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Pharmacology or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in ADME assays, physicochemical profiling, and LC-MS/MS bioanalysis in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
- Strong proficiency in in vitro metabolism tools (e.g., hepatocytes, S9 fractions) and analytical techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced lab setting.
