Pharmacist Job Summary
MedPlus is hiring Retail Pharmacists to manage store-level pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing of medicines, deliver excellent customer service, and comply with all regulatory requirements. Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Prescription Dispensing & Patient Care
- Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medicines as per the doctor’s prescription
- Explain dosage, frequency, storage, and possible side effects to customers
- Ensure correct labeling and packing of medicines
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical pharmacy practices
2. Customer Service (MedPlus Standards)
- Provide polite, professional, and quick service to customers
- Assist customers with generic alternatives and value options
- Resolve customer queries and guide them on health & wellness products for a rewarding pharmacist job experience.
3. Store Operations
- Handle billing using MedPlus POS/software
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper medicine arrangement
- Monitor stock levels, near-expiry items, and fast-moving products
- Coordinate with the warehouse for stock replenishment
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Follow the Pharmacy Act, Drug Control norms, and MedPlus SOPs
- Maintain prescription records, registers, and statutory documents, essential for all pharmacist job roles.
- Support audits and inspections by authorities
5. Team Coordination
- Work closely with CSA/store staff to ensure smooth store operations
- Support store targets and daily operational requirements
- Willing to work in rotational shifts as per MedPlus policy

Eligibility Criteria for the MedPlus Job
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification
- Pharmacy Council Registration (State/PCI) – Mandatory
- Freshers welcome (training provided by MedPlus)
- Willingness to work at any MedPlus store location as assigned, fulfilling all requirements for a pharmacist job.
Salary & Benefits (MedPlus Offering)
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
- Retention Bonus: ₹1,00,000 on completion of 3 years
