Pharmacist Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist at our Bengaluru location. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical prescriptions. Key tasks include maintaining an organized inventory of medicines, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, counseling patients regarding medication use and potential side effects, and ensuring adherence to all relevant legal and organizational regulations on pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications required for the Pharmacy Job
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical practices, medication preparation, and dispensing
- Strong knowledge of medication usage, drug interactions, and potential side effects
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in prescriptions and medical advice
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with inventory management and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical settings
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field; a valid pharmacist license is required
- Experience in mother and child healthcare services is a plus
