Role Description
This Pharmacy Jobis an on-site role based in Kozhikode for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and ensuring compliance with prescriptions. Duties include maintaining inventory levels, providing expert consultation to patients on the proper use of medications, and verifying the safety and compatibility of prescribed drugs. The role also involves working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, prescription interpretation, and drug interactions.
- Proficiency in handling and maintaining pharmacy inventory and supplies.
- Strong communication skills to provide medication guidance and excellent patient care.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription preparation and dispensing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist as per applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with pediatric and maternity medications is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
