Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a pharmacist at Davaindia Generic Pharmacy, located in Kochi. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, providing medication counseling to customers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining inventory levels. The role also involves managing retail pharmacy operations, maintaining records, checking prescriptions, and ensuring high standards of customer service. Collaboration with healthcare providers and educating customers about generic medicine alternatives will be key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing medication counseling to customers

Qualifications
- Proficiency in verifying, dispensing, and managing medications
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology and understanding of prescription management and drug interactions
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm)
- Valid certification or license for practicing as a pharmacist
- Basic computer skills for inventory and record maintenance
- Experience in retail pharmacy and familiarity with generic medicines is preferred
