Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Pharmacist based in Kolkata. The primary responsibilities include dispensing prescribed medications, ensuring accurate and effective inventory management, providing expert guidance on medication usage, and adhering to industry standards for pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist will also interact with customers to address their queries, maintain records, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, including dispensing medications and ensuring accurate dosage guidelines
- Inventory management and stock maintenance expertise, ensuring timely availability and storage of pharmaceutical products
- Customer interaction skills to provide clear communication and guidance on medications
- Understanding and adherence to healthcare standards, safety, and compliance regulations
- Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree is required
- Registered as a licensed pharmacist with the relevant pharmaceutical council
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setup is a plus.
