Key Responsibilities for this Pharmacovigilance Job
- Identify and create ICSR cases in the global safety database
- Triage and prioritize serious and non-serious adverse event cases
- Perform data entry, case processing, and follow-ups as per SOPs
- Code adverse events, medical history, and suspect drugs using MedDRA and WHO-Drug
- Draft case narratives and sender comments
- Process AE, SAE, and SUSAR submissions within regulatory timelines
- Perform duplicate checks and validate case data accuracy
- Request and track missing safety information
- Monitor and reconcile safety intake sources and mailboxes
- Support audits, inspections, and ad-hoc pharmacovigilance projects
- Perform translations and unblinding activities as per SOPs
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory and quality standards
Skills Required for this Pharmacovigilance Job
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance operations
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Familiarity with MedDRA and WHO-Drug
- Safety database exposure preferred
- Strong medical writing and documentation skills
- Good communication and English language proficiency
- Attention to detail and ability to meet regulatory timelines
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools
