Key Responsibilities for this Pharmacy Job
- Act as a medical, technical, and scientific resource for AbbVie products.
- Engage physicians, researchers, and academic centers for scientific discussions.
- Support research initiatives requested by R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs.
- Present clinical data to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy in disease-state and product communications and materials.
- Facilitate advisory boards and roundtable sessions.
- Conduct ongoing internal training for medical affairs, field sales, and other personnel.
- Maintain annual expenses within budget and accurately document all activities.
- Spend 60% of time in fieldwork representing AbbVie and supporting affiliate activities.
Skills Required for this Pharmacy Job
- 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in pharmaceutical or clinical research.
- Ability to learn and convey complex clinical and non-clinical information effectively.
- Strong presentation, teaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment.
