Role Summary
As an Associate Business Analyst within the IQVIA IVP Product Team, you will play a key role in supporting business analysis activities for our pharmacovigilance and safety products. You will assist in understanding business requirements, documenting system workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and user-focused solutions for global life sciences clients.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about healthcare technology, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation in pharmacovigilance.
Role Responsibilities of the IQVIA Job
- Work closely with Product Managers and Delivery Teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Participate in requirement discussions, user story creation, and backlog grooming sessions for IVP products.
- Translate business needs into clear and concise documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Assist in validating business workflows, performing data checks, and supporting testing activities to ensure alignment with user expectations.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation in Confluence and tracking tasks in Jira.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with QA teams to ensure test coverage for business scenarios.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product usability and process efficiency.
- Gain domain knowledge in pharmacovigilance, safety case management, and life sciences data workflows.
- Support communication and coordination between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
- Ensure adherence to defined processes, quality standards, and documentation best practices.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for the IQVIA Job
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or related fields.
- 0–1 year of professional experience in Business Analysis or related roles within healthcare, life sciences, or pharmacovigilance domains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
Technology Exposure
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Jira, and Confluence tools.
