Accountable for
- Assigned warehouse operations activities, compliance to good storage and distribution practice (GSDP), good documentation practice (GDP), good clinical practice (GCP) etc while performing day-to-day activities at the warehouse. It is essential to note that every pharmacy job like this comes with a responsibility for compliance and best practices.
- Performs temperature mapping of storage areas as per the plan, assigns day-to-day jobs, and monitors Technicians for execution of assigned jobs in compliance with internal processes and study instructions.
Job focus
- Handling all incoming Finished Goods (FG) and packaging material (PM) receipts and placement in the location. For those searching for a pharmacy job, these responsibilities are key to this role.
- Ensure accurate records of Warehouse stocks
- International Standard Organization (ISO), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and GSDP Compliance
Responsibilities
- Handling all incoming finished goods (FG) and packaging material (PM) receipts and placement in the location.
- Ensure all FG & PM are picked and issued according to service levels and picking procedures
- Ensure FG and PM are picked as per the pick slip requirement (item description, batch number, expiry date, quantity, UOM, and location)
- Ensure proper segregation of FG & PM
- Ensure proper segregation of damaged FG and PM, and raise the appropriate non-conformance report
- Ensure cold chain items are packed according to SOP/procedures
- Ensure sufficient cold chain packaging material,s such as boxes and ice packs
- Ensure audit readiness of finished goods and packaging material locations
- Updating of the SDS system and paperwork is well-documented
2. Participate in Warehouse & Principal Stock Take
- Performing a stock transfer before the Stock take is a routine part of several pharmacy job assignments.
- Assisting in the actual Principal’s stock take
- Performing location and blind cycle counts for respective Principals
- Verification and submission of data for cycle counts. ISO, GMP, and GSDP Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with ISO, GMP & GSDP procedures
- Following proper documentation and safety procedures as per warehouse guidelines
- Communication
- Working closely with other sections/departments to ensure the smooth flow of operations
- Provide feedback on all jobs assigned by the warehouse manager/supervisor
- Temperature mapping of storage areas:

- Participate in any adhoc projects or tasks as assigned by management from time to time, which can further develop your pharmacy job skills.
- Assign day to day job to technicians
Education and Experience
- Required educational level
- Graduate/diploma or degree in pharmacy, making you eligible for this type of pharmacy job.
- Required working experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant operational experience in warehouse and distribution, preferably with Pharmaceutical or related industry, is typically needed for a pharmacy job of this nature.
- Required knowledge & skills
- Understanding basic English (verbal & written)
- Knowledge of GCP, GMP, and GSDP will be advantageous
