Job Description
The Associate Scientist I is ideal for candidates with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, and will play a critical role in Baxter’s Reference Standard Global Program (RSGP) by leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills. The role involves developing, transferring, and validating analytical methods, conducting stability studies, and collaborating with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to ensure scientific excellence and regulatory compliance, making it ideal for those pursuing PhD Jobs in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as the technical lead for reference standard development and continued suitability studies.
- Develop, transfer, validate, and optimize analytical methods in compliance with regulatory standards (ICH, USP, EP).
- Ensure meticulous documentation and adherence to quality management systems (QMS).
- Scientific Analysis and Interpretation:
- Assess, interpret, and present scientific data clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Promote continuous improvement and implement best-demonstrated practices.
- Track metrics to measure performance, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Engage and communicate effectively with internal teams and CRO partners.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Maintain high-quality standards by following Baxter’s Quality System and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
Educational Qualification
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in project management and collaboration with CROs.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools, quality systems, and LIMS for stability studies.
- Capable of reviewing study protocols, managing technical documents, and delivering high-quality results efficiently.
