Project Overview :
- Project Title: “Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of Indoloquinoxaline-based 17β-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase type 5 inhibitors for the effective management of polycystic ovary syndrome”
- Funding Agency: ICMR-IIRP, New Delhi
- Project Duration: 3 years
Key Responsibilities (Central University of Punjab Recruitment Role Duties):
- Conduct biological assays and laboratory experiments
- Perform in silico drug design and synthesis
- Handle animals and execute experimental protocols
- Assist with patent drafting, scientific writing, and documentation
- Maintain accurate project records and experimental data
- Support Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator in research activities
Qualification Required For Central University of Punjab recruitment :
- First class post graduate degree (M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm)/Ph.D.
- Second class post graduate degree (M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm) with Ph.D.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in biological experiments including cell culture, enzymatic assays, ELISA, western blotting, MTT assays, animal handling, execution of animal study protocols in syngenic/xenograft models
- Experience in in silico drug design and laboratory synthesis techniques
- Experience in scientific manuscripts and patent drafting.
- Good communication skills
