Job Description for Research and Development Jobs
As a Sr Associate IS Analyst at Amgen, you’ll play a crucial role in executing Amgen’s digital roadmap strategy. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Amgen Operation’s Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and Instrument Data Acquisition Platform. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about Research and Development Jobs and Analyst Jobs, particularly those who thrive at the intersection of science and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain solutions for Operations Enterprise Lab Information Management, including Biovia’s Holistic Lab ELN Platform.
- Align business processes with PLM, Big Data, and Holistic Lab ELN capabilities.
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues across multiple platforms.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Create and manage test plans, scenarios, and validations.
- Support infrastructure deployment for DEV/TEST/PROD environments in cloud and on-prem systems.
Qualifications – Research and Development Jobs & Analyst Jobs
Basic Requirements:
- Master’s degree with 1–3 years of experience in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Pharmacology/Information Systems, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in related disciplines.
Functional Skills:
- Strong expertise in ELN Applications, SDLC, and Enterprise Integration.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, ITIL, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of HP ALM, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Continuous Delivery workflows.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Comfortable working with global, virtual teams.
- High initiative, adaptability, and attention to detail.
