Job Description
Call for Junior Research Fellows (non-medical) in the Nanomedicine Research Laboratory, BITS Hyderabad.
Application for the position of two junior research fellows for the project “Self-propelled Janus Nanomotor for Site-specific Delivery of Chemotherapeutics in Gastric Cancer through the Oral Route” under the supervision of Prof. Swati Biswas, Department of Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities | Research Fellow Jobs
- To develop various nanoformulations using advanced fabrication techniques such as microfluidization, electrospinning, and the hydrothermal method.
- To carry out a comprehensive physicochemical characterisation of the developed nanoformulations using appropriate analytical techniques.
- To evaluate the formulations through in vitro and in vivo studies and to elucidate the underlying mechanistic pathways involved.
Qualifications Required for Research Fellow Jobs
Essential Qualification
-
Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Sciences (First-class) from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification
- GATE/NET/GPAT/DBT/DST/ICMR/CSIR etc. qualification with prior experience working on a project related to developing nanoformulations, in vitro and in vivo experiments.
- Strong interest in learning new techniques.
- The candidate will be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. position next semester. PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship: As per BFI norms.
