Project Details
Applications are invited for the Project Associate position under the prestigious BIRAC-funded research fellowship
- Project title: “Antibiotic-Free Nanoparticles for Treatment of Mastitis Associated Staphylococcus Aureus and Streptococcus.”
- Fellowship: ₹31,000/month (consolidated)
- Duration: 2 Years (Performance reviewed after 6 months)
Key Responsibilities | Research Fellowship
- Conduct detailed literature surveys
- Design, plan, and execute experiments with the Principal Investigator
- Provide scientific & technical support in research activities
- Maintain laboratory records, inventory & consumables
Scope of Work
The selected candidate will handle:
- Nanoparticle preparation, surface modification & characterization
- Bioconjugate synthesis and analysis
- Drug release and in vitro studies
- Toxicity assessment
- Handling bacterial cultures in BSL-2 labs
- Sample preparation for TEM/SEM/AFM
- UV–Vis & fluorescence spectrum analysis
Qualifications Required for Research Fellowship
- Educational Qualification:
M.Pharm - Desirable:
CSIR-UGC NET / GATE or equivalent (not mandatory) - Preferred Experience:
Formulation research, biotechnology research, nanoparticle synthesis, surface modification, and bioconjugation techniques - Academic Requirement:
Minimum 75% aggregate - Other Requirements:
Motivated, research-driven, willing to work at the basic + applied science interface
