Job Description
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for JRF position leading to PhD (if found satisfactory) to work on the project “Establishment of intestinal organoid model to decipher the functional significance of host gut microbiota derived bile acids in conferring protection against radiation induced intestinal stem cell damage impacting barrier integrity” sponsored by DRDO-LSRB under the supervision of Dr. Trinath Jamma, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
- Start Date: 1st April 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform experimental work related to intestinal organoid models
- Conduct Cell culture, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry techniques
- Perform Imaging Techniques and Mouse Handling experiments
- Execute Bioinformatic Tool-based data analysis
- Support research activities under project supervision
- Contribute to the Research and Pharma Job project outcomes, leading to a PhD opportunity
Qualifications
- M.Pharm with 1st Class in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Biological Sciences (from a recognized university) with valid GPAT/GATE/NET qualification.
- Candidates with CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, and INSPIRE are also encouraged to apply.
Desirable:
- Cell culture, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry techniques, Imaging Techniques, Mouse Handling, Bioinformatic Tool-based data analysis.
Fellowship Details
- Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
