Key Responsibilities | Scientific Writer Jobs
People Responsibilities
- Maintain effective relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders within the allocated Global Business Unit and product
- Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content
- Assist other writers by sharing expertise and knowledge
Performance Responsibilities
- Deliver publication and medical education materials such as slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions for publication purposes
Process Responsibilities
- Develop complex publication and medical education materials
- Support medical communication and develop subject matter expertise in assigned therapeutic areas
- Assist in comprehensive publication-need analysis
- Implement relevant elements of the publication plan and associated activities
- Work with selected regional vendors to deliver defined outputs
- Design action plans based on end-user feedback to improve content and delivery
Stakeholder Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scientific communication teams to identify publication needs
- Liaise with Product Managers, MSLs, and medical departments to prepare customized deliverables
Qualifications Required for Scientific Writer Jobs
Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare content creation, or academia
Education

Advanced degree in pharmacy, or a similar discipline.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
