Key Responsibilities for Scientist Job Role
- Perform routine stability sample testing using chromatographic, dissolution, and wet analytical techniques in a GMP environment
- Execute instrument calibration, method validation, and method transfer activities
- Troubleshoot HPLC systems and dissolution apparatus
- Interpret stability data and perform results trending
- Investigate OOS, OOT, and other laboratory events
- Deliver analytical results within defined timelines and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and cGMP practices
- Follow EHS requirements to maintain laboratory and personal safety
- Maintain electronic lab notebook documentation
- Perform miscellaneous laboratory responsibilities as required
Skills Required for Scientist Job Role
- Strong educational foundation in analytical chemistry
- Good knowledge of analytical techniques and routine analysis
- Understanding of instrument calibration, method validation, and GMP documentation
- Experience in stability sample testing
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines and cGMP regulatory requirements
- Prior experience in a cGMP-regulated environment
- Exposure to regulatory inspections such as US FDA, MHRA preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Ability to work in shifts and meet tight deadlines
