Job Description
The Senior Executive, Supply Chain Planning at Amneal Careers will manage materials planning, scheduling, inventory control, and optimization to ensure timely availability of raw materials (RMs) and packaging materials (PMs). The role involves coordination with procurement, QA/QC, and production teams, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and participating in daily production review meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Planning, Scheduling & Inventory Control – Pharma job at Amneal Careers
- Ensure timely availability of RMs and PMs aligned with the production plan.
- Create and manage Material Requirement Plans (MRP) using ERP systems; raise purchase requisitions.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels based on production schedules and lead times.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and expired materials; reduce inventory carrying costs.
- Monitor return/rejection transactions.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Procurement Support – Amneal Careers
- Coordinate with procurement for timely PO creation and follow-ups.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and address delays proactively.
- Review lead times, MOQ, safety stock, and forecasting accuracy.
- Track inbound shipments and ensure smooth GRN posting.
- Collaborate with QA/QC for sampling, testing, and material release.
- Participate in daily production review meetings and highlight material risks.
- Compile data for monthly KPI dashboards and MIS reports for management.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Pharm / MBA
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical materials (APIs, excipients, packaging)
- Understanding of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance
- ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/Oracle)
- Analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience with inventory optimization, ABC/XYZ analysis, and controlled substances
