Job Summary:
The Executive-IP will oversee the management of the branded portfolio from an intellectual property perspective, supporting the company’s innovation pipeline and ensuring strong IP protection in alignment with Sun Pharma’s research and development jobs focus.
Key Responsibilities At Sun pharma Jobs
- Manage the lifecycle of the branded portfolio from an IP perspective, including competition tracking.
- Prepare landscape and infringement analyses for products and technologies.
- Conduct patentability evaluations, filings, and prosecutions.
- Prepare for enforcement of intellectual property rights.
- Perform searches and analyses related to APIs, NCEs, formulations, technology, and device-related inventions.
- Conduct IP due diligence for technologies and products for in-licensing.
- Provide IP support for out-licensing projects.
- Ensure freedom to operate for in-house branded portfolios.
- Analyze the validity of blocking patents.
- Identify new opportunities for in-licensing.
Qualifications Required for Sun Pharma Jobs

Educational Qualification: M Pharm / Ph.D. in Pharmacy (preferably Pharmaceutical Chemistry).

Certification: Certification in Patent Law (preferred).

Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Skills (Functional & Behavioral): Patent drafting, prosecution, analytical thinking, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
