    Job Description | Pharma Jobs in Bangalore

    The USP Operator will handle upstream biologics operations, including aseptic handling, media preparation, vial thawing, feed preparation, filtration, bioreactor execution, and batch harvest. The role ensures monitoring, documentation, compliance with cGMP, EHSS standards, and data integrity while supporting high-quality biologics production — reinforcing its importance under Pharma jobs in Bangalore.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain aseptic conditions in biologics facilities
    • Execute upstream activities: Assembly prep, Media prep, Filtration, Bioreactor ops to Harvest
    • Monitor processes and maintain quality documentation
    • Ensure traceability from raw material to product
    • Conduct in-process sampling & storage
    • Handle documentation preparation and review
    • Perform room & equipment ownership responsibilities
    • Coordinate with QA for line clearance
    • Monitor LNS & LN2 systems and Gas Bank
    • Maintain an audit-ready environment
    • Support protocol preparation, risk assessment & BMRs
    • Execute upstream protocols & equipment qualification
    • Maintain stock and records
    • Follow PM & calibration schedules
    • Report non-conformities and track work orders
    • Support downstream activities when required

    Qualifications Required for Syngene Careers

    Education

    Master’s degree/ bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

    Industry Experience

    Minimum 1 -4 years of relevant practical experience in mAbs downstream process.

    Other competencies required for the role

    • Strong compliance with EHSS, cGMP, GDP
    • SOP adherence and operational discipline
    • Active participation in audits, training, CAPA & deviations
    • Safety awareness, PPE compliance & proactive risk management
